Accepted Insurance Plans

Dr. Hoenig participates in many managed care and traditional insurance plans. See the detailed list of plans below for your reference. Many plans require that you make a copayment at the time of your visit. To make it as easy as possible for you, we accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards at our office.

Some insurance plans may require that you get authorization from them before you visit us. Since this differs by plan, please check with your insurance company so you can receive complete benefits from your coverage. We also have trained in-house specialists who can answer many of your insurance questions.

Our practice participates with the following plans:

  • AARP
  • Aetna/US Healthcare
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • BMC Healthnet
  • Champus/Tricare
  • Cigna
  • Commonwealth Indemnity
  • Fallon
  • Great West/One Health Plan
  • Harvard Pilgrim
  • Health Plans
  • Medicaid
  • Medicare
  • Neighborhood Health Plan (NHP)
  • Network Health
  • Railroad Medicare
  • Senior Whole Health
  • Tufts
  • USFHP
  • Unicare
  • United Healthcare
  • Wausau

To find out if a particular physician or clinician participates with your plan, please contact our office or your insurance company. Please note that this list is subject to change. Please confirm all provider information prior to each visit. Please verify your eligibility and coverage. You will be asked for your insurance card at each visit. If you have insurance coverage from a company other than what is listed, services are probably out of network and you will be responsible for a greater out-of-pocket expense.

Who can I contact if I have a question about my bill?

We are committed to providing you with the best available healthcare and finest possible billing services. In each office, specialists in this area would be happy to discuss this with you.
