Q: Where are Dr. Hoenig's offices located?


A: Dr. Hoenig has two convenient offices off Route 2 in Concord, MA and in Leominster, MA,

Q: What are Dr. Hoenig's office hours?


A: Our office's are open Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM by appointment. Dr. Hoenig or a member of his team are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies.

Q: Can I email my doctor?


A: Not at the present time. The best way to communicate a question is to call one of the offices and leave a message. We are committed to responding with an answer as soon as is possible.

Q: How can I make an appointment?


A: If you are a new patient, please call one of our two offices where you would like to be seen. If you receive a recorded message please leave your name and a call-back number and we will return the call promptly.

Q: What if I need to cancel my appointment?


A: You may call our office at the general number. Please try and offer 24 hours notice of your cancellation so we can reschedule other patients appropriately.

Q: What if I don't have a doctor?


A: Our office staff is happy to assist you in finding a local primary doctor who can meet your needs.

Q: Do I need a referral?


A: Every insurance plan is different, and it is your responsibility as the patient to be familiar with your plan's requirements and covered benefits. Contact your insurance carrier if you are unsure about these benefits. If you come to your appointment without a referral and one is required by your insurance carrier, you assume financial responsibility for the service. Some referring physician offices require several days to process a referral so please allow adequate time for this.

Q: How can I get a refill on my medication?


A: You can speak to the receptionist in either office to request a refill for your prescribed medications. Please request prescription refills during regular office hours so that we can contact your pharmacy during normal business hours. Please allow 24-48 hours for processing the request. Narcotics cannot be called in and will need a hard-copy prescription.

Q: How can I obtain a copy of my medical records?


A: You may request your medical records by sending us an authorization allowing us to release your private health information. You must mail the form to either of our two office in Concord or Leominster.

By law, we may not release your medical information through a request made by phone or by e-mail.

The request must include your name, date of birth and exactly what records you are requesting in order to process your request. Attorneys and Life Insurance Companies should contact our office for the current copying fees for obtaining medical records.
